Divine Magazine Reviews Dark Warrior

Divine Magazine have given my MM novel Dark Warrior a great review! Check it out!

Dr. Leo Rotherham heads to Kenya to work in a small village after suffering the heartbreak of another failed relationship when his lover decides to return to Germany. The young specialist in Tropical Diseases buries himself in his new job: helping the people of the village, treating them with compassion, gentleness, and dignity. He also falls instantly in lust with Malik, one of the nurses at the small village hospital, a handsome confident man, who also uses his free time to help teach in the village school. Leo struggles to keep his feelings hidden, but Malik comes to him in secret and the two men find ways to explore their desires in secret.

This is a country where gay relationships are not widely accepted, and a mixed race gay relationship? Well, that's really flirting with danger, especially when a local pirate and his crew rolls into town looking to steal the newest supplies of medicines and vaccines that Leo brought with him. A white doctor would also make a valuable hostage...Malik finally confronts the pirate, who is constantly raiding the tiny community, in order to protect the two people who mean everything to him: his sister, and the good Doctor, his lover.
Will Leo and Malik survive the dangerous encounter? If so, can they then find a way to stay together? I recommend you read this romantic thriller for yourself and find out.
